We've been busy making Firely better. Here's a rundown of the latest changes.

New Features

Free Tier

Firely is free to use — no trial, no expiration. The free tier gives you unlimited transactions, categories, and financial accounts, plus 5 receipt scans and 5 voice inputs per month, and up to 3 recurring templates. Need more? Pro unlocks bulk imports, 100 monthly AI uses, and unlimited recurring templates for $4.99/month or $29.99/year.

Receipt Scanning & Voice Input

While having a free tier is nice and all, the feature I'm most proud of is receipt scanning & voice input. We're very big on privacy and sovereignty. Many applications out there just send your stuff to Gemini or whatever third-party API. We don't. We run Qwen2.5-VL-7B-Instruct and Whisper Large V3 Turbo hosted on modal.com. There's a warm-up period when the server spins up so it takes a bit of time. And due to hosting costs we couldn't go with bigger or better models. But I believe this'll get better with time, so bear with us.

Light & Dark Theme

Switch between light and dark mode to match your preference. Firely remembers your choice and applies it across the entire app. The warm stone and amber palette looks great in both modes.
